Duplex
A residential unit spanning two floors connected internally by stairs, typically with bedrooms upstairs and living areas downstairs.
A duplex is a two-floor residential unit internally connected by stairs. Can be part of a building (penthouse-style on the top two floors) or part of a horizontal complex (paired two-story houses). Offers a "house-like" living feel with separation between private (bedrooms up) and social areas (living-kitchen-dining down). In Paraguay, an intermediate category between apartment and single-family home, popular in newer complexes in Lambaré, Villa Morra, and Luque.
